Vocal Lyrics — optional
Import lyrics from a tab file (if it has them) or type them in — one line per row. Edit freely: fix words, delete junk lines. You'll anchor the timing in the next step (the video sync editor).
Press Play — the cursor follows the video using the tab’s own tempo. Watch for spots where the cursor drifts ahead of or behind the music. At each drift point, position the video on that measure’s downbeat and hit Mark measure (or Spacebar) to pin it. As a guideline, aim for about one sync point every 10 measures (more where the tempo is loose, fewer for steady studio recordings). Hit Preview New Sync after marking to confirm, then Save when the cursor matches.
